Day 141.
Early morning dance party.
I had to go back to school for the senior breakfast, but beforehand was enjoyable with Trancephat playing on the balcony. That is, it was until the power went out and their short set was cut even shorter. The breakfast itself wasn’t so great, and neither was the assembly afterwards. I got my cap and gown and graduation tickets. I also grabbed all my artwork from the senior show and Mr. Caouette’s room, and was out of there by nine.
Cait, Casey, Jess and I decided on a whim that we wanted to go to the beach. We ended up going up to Hampton, and it was nice. Casey got overheated though, and on the way home we had to stop so she could poop. It was quite hilarious. I also got really excited because I heard The Gaslight Anthem on the radio. Granted, it was on Cait’s satellite radio, but I still was excited and no one else was because Cait was concentrating on driving, Casey was sleeping, and Jess didn’t care. So I sang along to myself and bounced happily. I’m now a shade of pink and I’m pretty sure the sand scorched the bottoms of my feet, but I am extremely content. It was a good day.
